Macross Frontier: Mikhail Blanc

Not only is this character unfamiliar to me, but I can’t even tell if the character is a boy or a girl! But I’m pretty sure the cosplayer is a girl though? If not a very handsome young man!


We have too many blond-haired, blue-eyed characters, so he could be any one of them, but perhaps that jacket will be a vital clue for those of you who like playing this blog game. Thanks to Rhianne for sending this in!

Pop's Music 4: Smile

Well now, will you look at that? This category’s finally come back to life! All thanks to this… creepy looking cosplay that I can’t seem to get myself to ignore.

Anyone know who this blue-skinned, blue-haired character with rosaries could be? With all those bandages on, I’d think he or she is either unwell, or undead!

Manaka de Ikuno!!: Yuzuhara Konomi

I gotta hand it to this cosplayer, her scepter(?) looks really sturdy, unlike the usual paper and card board we see in props! Since it’s probably made of wood or plastic, I bet you she can knock out any creepy otaku that comes her way!

But I digress, what character is she cosplaying anyway? One thing's for sure though: she and/or her character really loves cats! And I really like her cat ears hat! Thanks to Tokiya for sending this in!

Orix Buffaloes: BuffaloBell

Well, what can you expect? It is Comiket Season, so there will be a ton of awesome cosplays that I don’t know about!

Now, I’m not much of a sports fan to begin with, and that doesn’t change much when it’s an anime or manga series. But I can’t seem to shake off the feeling that this isn’t even from an anime. I think she’s a baseball mascot from a real team, and Japan is well-known for its love of baseball.

She’s a cute, red-haired, bishoujo, but with only a portrait shot like this, she could probably be anyone! I’d have better lucky identifying that character behind her (who’s either Kyon or Koizumi Itsuki from The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi)!

Touhou Project: Houraisan Kaguya

I thought I'd finished going through all of the unknown cosplays I had, but I guess I have more hidden away in my older folders. Looks like I have a lot more organizing to do!

To be honest, that looks more like a hanbok (the Korean national dress) than a kimono. However, this was taken in Japan’s Comiket 78, so it should be from an anime or manga, even if it is a Korean series, right?

I’ll leave you guys to tell me who she is, because I really have no clue. She’s very cute though, wouldn’t you agree? Thanks to Ingrid for sending this in!

LovePlus / Arakawa Under the Bridge: Takane Manaka and Nino

Alright guys, here’s another “unknown” for you, because I’ve given up trying to figure this one out.

I know the girl on the left is Takane Manaka from LovePlus, but as for the other girl(?) beside her, I’m about as clueless as it gets. There’s not a lot of information with regards to this game, so she might be a minor character unlisted in wikipedia. Then again, she could just as easily be from a completely different series.

Tenjou Tenge: Natsume Maya, Natsume Aya, Isuzu Emi, and Kuzunoha Mana

When Nagi Souchirou and Bob Mikahara came to Toudou Academy, they intended to rule the school by beating up anyone who got in their way, just like they had done in previous schools. Little did they know that Toudou was no ordinary school; it was founded to teach and integrate different fighting styles and some of its students posses supernatural abilities such as pyrokinesis, precognition, and superhuman strength. After an altercation with the Executive Club, Souchirou and Bob join the only surviving club that dares to oppose them: the Juken Club.
