Two Fairy Houses :: Fairy Tea House & Earth Fairy House

I made fairy houses! If you could use some magickal company, one option is to place a faery dwelling in your home and soon enough someone wonderful (or two or three?) will inhabit it.

Full view of the house. 'Fairy Lamps' is a mysterious and pretty song from a 1914 song book.

Little mandala art I made.

Interesting art on the walls of the pixie lounge. Also, space for adding any fae items one may wish, or you can put your fairy here if you have figurines and such. The petal is a book holder for miniature fairytales.

'Something Nice to Look At' and 'The Pie and the Patty-Pan' by Beatrix Potter. The former is written in excellent rhyme :)

Adorable vintage kitty! And Charming poetry on this page! :P

Step into the mystery and attract a bright spirit to bless your home, and to enjoy this shabby chic Fairy Tea House!

Oh and there's another apartment available:

A natural, wondrous fairy house for a calm and earthy spirit to come live here.

Baby deer ready to play with the fairy (or fairies).

Dragonfly guarding the magic crystal! Picture is not doing it justice here, sorry. The crystal is not glued so you can pick it up and carry with you if you want.

Leaf bed. Cone is there for holding the fairy's jewelry when she sleeps. Also she can hide whatever secret things she has in the depths of the cone.

Bedside reading. This is from the Tale of Mrs Tiggy Winkle by Beatrix Potter. Exciting story and lots of cool pictures.

Feather bottle to store magic faery dust in.

Another book, The Frolicsome Kittens, written in rhyme and illustrated beautifully.

Charms that you can wear as a necklace! They will jingle a little bit as you move and remind you of your resident fairy throughout the day.

These houses are yours if you want! One or both. Pay what you think is fair! y!

Much love.

Fairies Need a Break Too

Nice wallpaper [pardon the language]

I had a day off from anything and everything :) Actually, two days. Except for the past couple of hours, I cheated and worked on a website. But during these two days I
❤ made a song with my finger piano
❤ explored the neighborhood I live in
❤ stumbled on a block party with a DJ stage, lights, balloons and hipster party people
❤ hooped in a nearby park in early morning sunshine
❤ found the above band Mother Mother (check out this song too)
❤ cleaned the house like it's never been cleaned before (because I made an unprecedented mess first)
❤ gawked on three kitties that live in an abandoned house next door (they come out to the roof during the day through a glassless window and their mommy feeds and babysits them)
❤ however one of the kitties fell off the roof today and me and Daniel climbed on this big fence to see how the little one is doing, it's fine but, unable to jump very high, stuck in the alley way below the others but mommy goes there to feed too so no probs)

And I put in motion a project to fill this frame that Carole so gracefully gave me. I guess I'm not doing too well on not doing anything. But it's a good break for the brain to do random seemingly unvital things that just happen.

Kitties and mom. I don't know how this place looks so ghetto, the building I live in is actually very nice. I think I'll name these cuties very soon.

The Fairiest Nature Art You'll Ever See

Sally J. Smith makes most magical nature art. I first saw photos of her fairy houses in a calendar on my friend's kitchen wall. In her blog Sally describes how one day she had 45 minutes free time after running her errands. She decided to go out in the freezing upstate NY evening and make some art with ice,

"Sometimes you only have a few free moments... the important thing is, what are we going to do with those moments?"
Here are more pictures of her creations.

Jupiter, Venus and the New Moon in a stem planetcatcher :)

After looking at these I feel super inspired to go out to a forest or park and DO SOMETHING! Something pretty and heartfelt! And play like a kid! Don't you feel it too?!
