How to Save a Birthday in 5 Creative Steps

1. Suppose you stay up until 1 or 2 am watching movies with your sister. You wake up the next day as the sun shines on your face through the window, and realize that today is her birthday. You wanted to but didn't manage to get her anything. You yawn and scratch your eye while thinking real hard
.
.
2. Then it hits you. A GIFTCARD! You grab paper, thin color markers and scissors. Cut the paper to look like a fancy round-edged, folded card.
.
.
3. Think of something you can make or give at any time like a dinner, trip to the forest, meditation session, or what I'm going with - a massage. You have nothing to lose so give your card a magnificent heading. Then draw something appropriate on it such as my signature Fairy Bunnies. You might want to sketch it with pencil first.
.
.
4. Color the card jubilantly and draw something on the inside. I'm drawing here what's at the end of the massaging arms - another Fairy Bunny. Then write what you're giving but keep it realistic. My text says: 30 minutes of wonderful massage by yours truly, anytime!
.
.
5. And the end result should look like you poured all your love and creativity into it. That's the idea :)
.

.
6. Onnea means congratulations. And then as the birthday person wakes up and slouches downstairs from her bedroom, sneak on her and start singing 'happy birthday to you' in a really high pitch, jump up and down in excitement, hug her, and present your gift card.
.

 HAPPY BIRTHDAY MINNA!
.
TIP: When the birthday person is absorbed in examining the card, you can make a stealth run at the cake.
